Day 23 of the Queen's Baton Relay will begin at 9.03am in Renmark and travels east to Merbein and completes its 157km journey in Mildura at 5.30pm.

Miss Chloe Drogemuller, Leg 5 At 17 years of age, Chloe has notched up many achievements, especially in netball. Her hard work and dedication to the sport paid off when she was awarded a scholarship to the South Australia Institute of Sport. While she lives two and a half hours from Adelaide, Chloe continues to live at home, and remains diligent in her studies as well as being committed to her training in Adelaide. Mrs Kathy Bedford, Leg 20 Kathy Bedford fronts the team presenting ABC Victoria's new Statewide Drive Program. With newsbreaking radio and innovative programming, Kathy covers it all from politics and finance to relationships, cultural diversity and finding the best of everything throughout regional Victoria. Home town: Ballarat Where carrying the Baton: Starting in Mildura at 16:08, Kathy will carry the baton along Old Aerodrome Sporting Complex from Clubhouse and finish at Hillcrest CL on Eleventh St.
Mr Gerard Sullivan, Leg 29 Gerard has made a significant contribution to the Sunraysia Community through his involvement with the Mildura Racing Club. As President, he has transformed the club into one of the leading regional horse racing clubs in Victoria. He is also a committee member for the local football club and helps train junior runners through his involvement in junior training clinics. Home town: Mildura Where carrying the Baton: Starting in Mildura at 16:40, Gerard will carry the baton along Walnut Ave from House No. 355 and finish at Anthony St.
Miss Sheree Keyte, Leg 41 Sheree has worked tirelessly over the last two years, setting up the Relay for Life Cancer Foundation in Mildura. She has spent virtually every day over this time organising and running the event, raising $200,000. She was nominated and received a Young Citizen of the Year Award on Australia Day and looks forward to running with the Baton.
